This is the second novel in the Inkworld trilogy. Meggie has the ability to read things and characters out of books.  She can also read people into books, and in this story she is trapped inside the story and living every scary moment of it.  The author tries writing new sections of the book, but the story seems to be evolving in ways that can't be controlled.

This mysterious and humorous story can be quite intriguing for reluctant readers.
